RedPath Wellness Centre
Located at 271 Brock Street, Peterborough, ON
The RedPath Wellness Centre is a community-based space dedicated to supporting individuals in moving beyond recovery toward lasting wellness. Rooted in connection, accountability, and healing, RedPath offers structured programming for those ready to do the work — together.
Who we serve
Many individuals come to the RedPath Wellness Centre after trying multiple services that addressed immediate crises but did not provide the consistency or depth needed for lasting stability. They often arrive at a turning point — recognizing that surviving is no longer enough and that meaningful change requires structure, accountability, and ongoing support.
We work with people who are ready to take steps toward rebuilding their lives, strengthening their relationships, and developing the skills needed to move forward with stability and purpose. The Centre supports individuals who are seeking not just short-term relief, but a pathway toward long-term wellness and personal growth.
The RedPath approach is grounded in the understanding that people are not broken — they adapt to what they have lived through. When pain, trauma, and disconnection go unaddressed, those experiences often show up as addiction, violence, emotional shutdown, or repeated crisis. RedPath helps people understand these patterns and learn how to change them.
Rather than focusing on diagnosis, blame, or punishment, RedPath emphasizes awareness, accountability, and skill-building. Participants are supported in understanding why they react the way they do, what they are carrying beneath the surface, and how past experiences continue to shape present choices.
Through structured programming, group process, storytelling, and reflection, participants gain practical tools to:
Recognize emotional and behavioural patterns
Name what they are feeling instead of acting it out
Build healthier ways to cope with stress, conflict, and relationships
Take responsibility for their actions without shame
Reconnect with themselves, others, and their sense of purpose
RedPath combines structure with compassion. It creates a space where people can be honest, learn from one another, and practice new ways of responding to life’s challenges.
This work is not about quick fixes or surface-level change. It is about learning how to live differently — with greater self-awareness, emotional regulation, and connection.
At its core, the RedPath approach is about hope. When people are given the tools to understand themselves and the support to practice change, healing becomes possible — not only for individuals, but for families and communities as well.
Our Approach
Outpatient Programs at the RedPath Wellness Centre
Outpatient services at the RedPath Wellness Centre provide structured, community-based support for individuals who are ready to engage in consistent healing work while remaining connected to their daily lives.
All outpatient programming is grounded in the RedPath approach and requires commitment, participation, and honesty. This is not drop-in programming or crisis response. Participants are expected to attend regularly, engage in group work, and take responsibility for their own healing.
Our Programs
-
The RedPath Addiction Treatment Program supports individuals who are ready to better understand and change patterns related to substance use and addiction. This program is designed for people who recognize that substance use is connected to deeper emotional, relational, and life experiences, and who are prepared to engage in consistent, honest work toward long-term change.
Rather than focusing only on stopping use, this program helps participants explore the underlying experiences, emotions, and beliefs that drive addictive behaviour. Substance use is often a way of coping with pain, stress, trauma, or disconnection. Through structured group work, reflection, and open discussion, participants begin to understand how their personal history, emotional patterns, and survival strategies have shaped their relationship with substances.
Participants build awareness of the situations, emotions, and patterns that lead them toward substance use. They learn practical tools for managing cravings, stress, conflict, and difficult emotions without turning to substances. The program emphasizes accountability, emotional regulation, communication skills, and healthier ways of coping with life’s challenges.
The RedPath Addiction Treatment Program is not a short-term fix or a crisis intervention service. It is a structured process that supports gradual, meaningful change. Participants are expected to attend consistently, participate honestly, and take responsibility for their recovery work. Growth happens through repetition, reflection, and the willingness to look at behaviours over time.
This program is designed for individuals who are ready to move beyond crisis management and begin addressing the root causes of addiction. By combining structure, peer support, and practical skill-building, the RedPath Addiction Treatment Program helps participants build a stronger foundation for long-term wellness, stability, and healthier relationships.

The RedPath Living Without Violence Program supports individuals in understanding and changing patterns of violence, aggression, and harmful relational behaviours. The program recognizes that violent behaviour does not come from nowhere — it is often rooted in learned responses, unresolved pain, and difficulty managing emotions and conflict. While these patterns may have developed over time, participants are supported in understanding that they are responsible for changing them.
Participants explore where their reactions come from, how their behaviour affects partners, families, and communities, and what healthier responses look like in real-life situations. The program helps individuals recognize early signs of escalation, understand the role of emotions such as anger, shame, and fear, and develop safer ways to respond during moments of conflict and stress.
Through structured group work, honest discussion, and reflective exercises, participants build practical skills in emotional regulation, communication, boundary-setting, and respectful relationship behaviour. Accountability is central to the program. Participants are expected to take ownership of their actions without blame or minimization, and to practice new ways of responding both inside and outside of sessions.
The RedPath Living Without Violence Program is designed for individuals who are ready to take responsibility for their behaviour and commit to meaningful, lasting change. The goal is not only to stop harmful actions, but to support the development of healthier, more respectful relationships built on awareness, self-control, and accountability.
